Start in Songkeeper’s Grove
Scrooms is a Roblox exploration and collection game. You attract mushroom creatures with an instrument, tune it, then keep the creature in a catch zone. This guide combines the official gameplay description with published tutorial reporting. We have not tested the route in game.
Use the Roblox game linked below. This website is a guide, so it does not run Scrooms inside your browser. Follow Roblox’s device and account prompts to join.
Open Scrooms on Roblox ↗Get the lute and make your first catch
- Find Leo in Songkeeper’s Grove and accept the opening tutorial. Published walkthroughs say he provides the Wooden Lute.
- Equip the instrument and play near a Scroom. Start tuning when the game prompts you.
- Complete the tuning stage, then follow the frequency and catch-zone prompts. Keep the creature inside the zone until progress fills.
- Return to Leo after the catch. Check the quest text before leaving the area.
If the catch keeps failing, use the catching guide to identify which stage needs practice. On a touchscreen, the PC and mobile controls guide explains the tap-and-drag inputs.
Sell carefully, then equip an upgrade
The opening walkthrough continues at Julian’s stall. Read the sale quote and choose which creatures to sell before buying an instrument. Use the Equipment Bag to equip the purchase, close the bag, then return to Leo.
Keep a creature if your current quest needs it. Our Chimes and selling guide explains the difference between selling one held catch and selling your inventory.
Follow the quest toward the Ocarina
After the opening tutorial, follow The Next Step and find Halden near the campfire. The reported task asks you to pay respects at five Weathered Statues before returning for the Ocarina. See the Ocarina unlock route for landmarks and the song menu.
Explore at your own pace. A locked gate or unreachable ledge may need a later song or traversal item. The exploration guide separates known requirements from steps that still need confirmation.

Frequently asked questions
Is this a speedrun?
No. The route helps you find the opening objectives. It does not promise an optimal completion time or a guaranteed rare catch.
What if a quest step does not complete?
Read the current objective, equip the requested item, close the bag, and speak to the quest NPC again. If the objective still differs from this guide, send us a correction with the quest text.
