Double jump and Songtreads

The official Songwalker badge records unlocking Songtreads. Prelaunch reporting associates this traversal equipment with mobility upgrades, including double jump and glide.

We have not verified the current upgrade NPC, level, price or exact input for double jump. This is a requirements reference rather than a complete unlock walkthrough. Do not spend currency on a guessed upgrade or follow a claimed shortcut solely because it uses the phrase “speed boots.”

Check your current equipment description and active quest for Songtreads. If you ask the community for help, include the item name and the upgrade you already have.

Cave doors and Song of Passage

The official Open Sesame badge names a gate opened with Song of Passage. Prelaunch coverage describes playing the song with an Ocarina at a marked stone doorway.

1. Unlock the Ocarina through Halden’s statue task.
2. Check Known Songs for Song of Passage. Do not substitute Homeward Melody, which is reported as a return-to-spawn song.
3. At a marked gate, follow the game’s interaction and song prompts. Use the notes displayed by the current song menu.

The current source set does not establish where to learn Song of Passage, its note sequence or every gate location. If the song is missing from your menu, this page does not provide a verified shortcut to obtain it.

A useful pre-trip check

Before leaving the Grove, check the active quest, your equipped catching instrument, your learned songs and any traversal equipment. This separates a missing ability from a navigation problem.

If you are blocked by a ledge, investigate the traversal requirement. If a marked doorway is blocked, investigate the song requirement. If you can reach a place but cannot catch its creatures, revisit catch control and instrument choices.

Region collection milestones

The official badge list includes Grovewalker for completing the Songkeeper’s Grove Index and Quarryhand for completing the Bluestone Caverns Index. These confirm named collection milestones; they do not prove a complete travel route or every species location.
